As part of the commitment to strengthen the security and well-being of Yucatecan families, the state government delivered 169 new fully equipped patrol cars to the state’s municipalities.

This action is part of the Allies for Life Strategy, which seeks to guarantee safe environments, promote crime prevention, and strengthen social cohesion in communities.

Governor Joaquin Díaz Mena said that security is a fundamental pillar for the development of Yucatán and that his government will continue to implement measures that allow for consolidating the peace and tranquility that distinguish the state.

He stressed that these new units will strengthen the operational capacity of municipal security forces, allowing them to respond more effectively to the needs of citizens.

When addressing his message and in the presence of the 106 mayors of the state, he said that the foundations continue to be strengthened to maintain a safe, fairer, and better-prepared state to face the challenges of the present and the future.
