The Jurassic Trail theme park welcomed passengers from the Brilliance of the Seas cruise ship, coming from Grand Cayman, who enjoyed an afternoon full of activities and learning about the age of the dinosaurs.
Cintia Sosa Gómez, director of the park, highlighted that one of the objectives of the current administration, headed by Mayor Ing. Erik José Rihani González, is to offer new experiences to visitors to encourage tourism and strengthen the economic development of Progreso.
The Jurassic Trail has established itself as an innovative option for tourists, especially because it is located in the area where the meteorite that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs more than 66 million years ago struck, a fact that amazes and captivates visitors.
During the tour, the “Jurassic friends” not only share this fascinating story, but also make the experience more dynamic with animatronics and interactive figures, which are attractive to both children and adults. Finally, Sosa Gómez reported that the park continues to receive requests from schools for guided tours, with the aim of helping more students learn about the history of the planet.
