SSP officers seized the vehicle that struck members of a family in Kanasin

The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) attached to the State Investigation Police (PEI) seized the truck that struck members of a family on March 17th, outside their home in the municipality of Kanasín.

Since the incident became known, SSP investigative agents, in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), activated the corresponding protocols to locate the vehicle and its driver.

The blue Ford Focus with Yucatán license plates was being held on a property in the Mulchechén neighborhood of the same municipality.

At that location, the investigating agents and prosecutors executed a search warrant issued by a supervisory judge to seize the vehicle, which was then handed over to the FGE.
