The Secretary of Tourism of Yucatán, Darío Flota Ocampo, announced that the Yucatecan delegation will have 38 spaces at the 2025 Tianguis Turístico, an internationally significant event that will be held binationally in Baja California, Mexico, and San Diego, California, from April 28 to May 1.

This figure represents a significant increase from the 20 spaces initially allocated, reflecting the growing interest of the Yucatecan business sector in participating in this prominent tourism forum.

Flota Ocampo emphasized that this edition of the Tianguis Turístico is historic, as for the first time it will be held binationally, with activities on both sides of the border. More than 10,000 visitors, 900 exhibitors, and 787 buyers from 21 countries are expected to attend, making the event a key platform for promoting Mexican tourism.

Participation in the 2025 Tourism Fair will allow Yucatán to showcase its cultural, culinary, and natural wealth, as well as attract more visitors, increase its economic impact, and improve hotel occupancy in the state.
