Mérida, Yucatán, (December 13, 2021).- On Sunday, December 12th, it was 21 months since the appearance of the lethal rapidly spreading pathology in the state of Yucatan, and the first 37 occasions with figures less than 10, were distributed in March and April 2020.
According to the daily technical statement of the SSY, this Sunday there were nine confirmed active cases of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) that causes the Covid-19 disease, all of them from Mérida, as well as one death, a native of Tekax.
Therefore, it is the lowest figure in 599 days, since April 22, 2020, there were five confirmed cases.
In the first 41 days of the pandemic, on 37 occasions the incidence was only one digit, that is, nine infected were registered on two occasions; eight infected only once, and seven positive in three.
Similarly, six infected were registered on one occasion; five infected the same number of times; four positives in 20 days, with three in seven.
Likewise, two infected were registered on eight occasions; one was infected three times, and in five days no case was recorded.
According to the epidemiological panorama and the distribution of positive cases to Covid-19, so far this month 261 confirmed cases have already been registered, with a daily average of 21 infected, and December is located in second place in the table monthly lower incidence of morbidity.
The maximum or highest figure occurred on Wednesday 1st, with 29 infected, and the minimum occurred today, with nine cases.
While with regard to deaths, there are already 27 deceased, with a daily average of two deaths, and December is located in the first place in the monthly table with the lowest incidence of mortality.
