Cancun made the top 10 list of the largest international destinations from the United States for this summer of 2022, given the trend of fewer long-distance flights due to restrictions and the pandemic.

According to Allianz Partners, an assistance company that covers the tourism industry, Cancun is above:

– San José del Cabo
– Aruba
– Montego Bay (Jamaica)
– Punta Cana, Bahamas
– Turks and Caicos
– Islas Vírgenes
– Costa Rica

These are the 10 destinations that monopolize the demand for this summer. In Quintana Roo, the recovery of connectivity was key to linking the state with more than 100 cities around the world.

The promotional work, the perception of health security and tranquility have managed to influence the international markets that prefer to travel to Cancun on their vacations.

This Easter season started with a 36% higher than what was recorded last year, and there are excellent projections for the rest of the year. Regarding sanitary measures, the State Secretariat of Tourism (Sedetur) launched again, at the beginning of the year, the Certification in Protection and Sanitary Prevention in Tourist Facilities (Cppsit), with which establishments and service providers will once again have the benefit of obtaining the Safe Travel Seal of the World Travel Council (WTTC).

This means economic growth, and job creation for the people of Quintana Roo who work in the tourism industry so that they can have more resources, more income, and a better standard of living.
