This is one of the activities towards the World Conference on Cultural Policies (Mondiacult) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco).
At the opening, Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal welcomed the participants, through a video, and stressed that “culture is the element that gives us identity and has the ability to promote social development; that is why events like these are relevant, because it will be possible to discuss the importance of implementing cultural policies, for the benefit of different sectors”.
He stated that the administration he heads implemented, with UNESCO, the Promotion of the Creative Economy project, to support more than 300 artists from 20 municipalities, and recently, the digital platform to publicize local talents and that they can hire them from anywhere. of the world.
