A Siberian Husky managed to return to its family hours after being stolen by a woman, who entered the garage of a house to get the dog, informed the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Chihuahua.

The agency said that the pet theft occurred last weekend in the streets of San Rafael neighborhood, in the capital city of Chihuahua, where a woman stole the dog and took it to her vehicle, fleeing.

The action was captured by a neighbor’s security camera. The owners of the dog reported the incident to local police officers, who virtually followed the trajectory of the woman who took the pet.

Those affected forgave the woman who took the dog.
“With the support of the cameras of the Chihuahua Shield Platform and with the collaboration of a Municipal Police agent, the trajectory and route of the vehicle was located, thus identifying the place where the dog had been taken,” the agency said.

The person responsible was later located and, after returning the dog to its rightful owners, was pardoned by them, so she was released and will not follow any type of judicial process.
