The governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores, presented a song that says that the Mayan Train is like a fire horse that will travel through history, embrace the jungle and visit the temples of the ancient Mayan civilization.

” I would like to present first a two-minute video with hard facts to make it more enjoyable for you, about everything that is the Mayan Train in my state,” Sansores announced.

“Get on the train, jaguar warrior, may the jungle embrace you, may it take you to the sea. Get on the train, lightning and iron, horse of fire, you changed my walk,” says the chorus of the song presented.

The Mayan Train song was launched by Sansores a week after the federal government released the AIFA anthem on the occasion of its first anniversary.

This morning, in a conference at the National Palace, the Governor said that the people of Campeche and the surrounding communities are the only ones who are grateful for the construction of this great work of the Government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“I want to tell you that only those who live the challenges of the Tren Maya can realize how colossal, how impactful, this work is, half realize it. Today it already has music thanks to my family who is well, very committed, we are all inspired and this video was also made in record time,” she said.

Courses for drivers of the Mayan Train with virtual reality are prepared

On the other hand, the drivers of the Mayan Train will be trained in a virtual reality cabin as if it were a 2D or 3D game, announced Maite Ramos, director of Alstom Mexico.

“There is a driving simulator (…) where they are instructed in a realistic way and where they look for possible train breakdowns,” she said.

In the simulator, she explained, railway safety procedures will be seen and drivers will be trained on the slopes and curves of the train route.

“The training is done in virtual reality, 2D and 3D, to see the different situations that the train could present. The result is very faithful to reality,” she said.

“There is a cabin where the driver is immersed and an instructor’s station where all the instructions for training, evaluation and testing can be given. This allows for more personalized training for drivers,” she added.
