Six students from Merida and Chetumal were hit by a train in Jalisco, and were taken to a hospital.
A terrible accident occurred this Wednesday in Amatitán, Jalisco, when a train rammed a car on the Guadalajara-Tepic highway, in which six students from Mérida and Chetumal were traveling, two of them died.
The images that circulated on social networks show the exact moment when the car was hit by the train and dragged a few meters, and then pulled off the track.
It was reportedly a white Sprinter type van which was presumably being used as a cab in which young people from Yucatan were traveling, as well as young people from Chetumal who were studying in the city of Merida.
A total of six people were injured, two of whom were taken to Magdalena Hospital and four others to private hospitals in the AMG.
Although their names have not yet been disclosed, it is known that two of them were killed.
