MÉRIDA, Yucatan, April 7, 2023.- The State Attorney General’s Office charged G.B.U. with the crime of qualified injuries committed against public servants (2), after the events that occurred in recent days on a property in Tekax, Yucatan, for wounding two agents with a machete while they were carrying out their work.
During the hearing held at the Oral Justice Center of the Third District, the Control Judge declared the arrest to be legal, and then the prosecutors of litigation formulated the indictment and requested the indictment, but the accused requested the extension of the term to define his legal condition and it was determined that the hearing for the indictment will be held on April 11.
The facts of the criminal case 38/2023, indicate that on April 4, the accused injured with a machete two agents of the Public Security and Municipal Transit Department, who went to a property in the Solidaridad neighborhood, causing to one of the agents wounds that take less than fifteen days to heal and to the other, wounds that take more than fifteen days to heal.
Finally, the prosecutors presented the arguments to request the imposition of preventive detention as a precautionary measure, which was granted by the Judge of Control on an informal basis, for the duration of the process.
