A tragic ending occurred for a motorcyclist, who died after crashing in Yucatan due to a wild boar.
The incident occurred on the state highway Dzilam González-Dzilam de Bravo at kilometer 18, where the motorcyclist skidded and died after hitting his head.
The young man, originally from Dzilam González, had just left the port of Dzilam de Bravo minutes before when a wild boar crossed his path, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and skid.
After skidding, the motorcyclist was thrown onto the pavement and due to not wearing a protective helmet, he suffered severe head trauma, which resulted in his instantaneous death.
Police officers from the Municipal Police of Dzilam González and the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) arrived at the scene, who took notice of the incident and cordoned off the area to prevent further accidents, as many tourists were still circulating on the mentioned road.
Paramedics from the Y-14 ambulance of the SSP also arrived at the scene, who confirmed the young man’s death.
Finally, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) was in charge of collecting the body.
