MÉRIDA, Yucatan, May 18, 2023 – Students from the National Association of Students of Political Science and Public Administration (ANECPAP) Yucatan Chapter visited the State Congress.

The meeting was attended by students from second to sixth semester of Political Science and Public Administration, Political Science and International Relations, and Economics and Politics for Development, who had the opportunity to tour the facilities of the local legislature and learn about the various tasks that are performed there.

During the tour, the students of ANECPAP Yucatan were able to learn about the discussions that take place in the Plenary, the work of the different Commissions and the importance of this institution for the Yucatecan society.

At the end of the visit, they thanked the Director General, Juan Pablo Lozano Zapata, as well as the Secretary of Liaison and Liaison, Yaresbi Méndez Marrufo, for the efforts made to make this visit possible.

ANECPAP is a non-partisan and non-profit civil association with almost 30 years of history, which is responsible for bringing together the guild of political science students throughout the country. In Yucatan, over the last six months, it has focused on carrying out various social, academic, cultural and sports activities, with a good response from students and civil society.
