A group of people gathered at the Monumento a la Patria to peacefully demonstrate against animal cruelty and mistreatment, this derived from the national media case of a tenderloin that was thrown into a pot of boiling oil.

The demonstrators showed their repudiation with banners and shouted slogans to make themselves heard, in addition to asking the authorities to have a firm hand for all animal abusers.

“There are cases in the prosecutor’s office that have not been followed up and we demand that they be given importance because they are sentient beings and deserve to be treated with dignity,” said those present.

In addition, in the demonstration they also positioned themselves against bullfighting, because they said that it is also cruelty and mistreatment of an animal, disguised as culture.

“Mistreatment, cruelty and killing a live animal cannot be culture or tradition, besides, children attend these shows which is not allowed, we demand that they be prohibited in the whole state.
