The Potable Water and Sewerage Commission (CAPA) advises the general population to strengthen measures for the conservation of drinking water, due to electrical incidents that are affecting the operation of potable water systems in the various municipalities where the service is provided.
The most important thing is to keep cisterns and ground-level water tanks in homes filled. It is necessary to use drinking water responsibly due to the failures that are occurring, which are beyond CAPA’s control and interrupt the pumping from the collection areas, thus affecting the continuity of the water supply.
The population is once again urged to remember that one of the most important measures during the hot season or hurricanes is to keep water storage containers such as cisterns and tanks full.
