AMLO reiterates that he does not have a favorite candidate

Andrés Manuel López Obrador, president of Mexico, reiterated that neither he nor his family has favorite candidates after Marcelo Ebrard proposed naming Andrés López Beltrán, his son, head of a new secretariat.

“My close family, my children, my wife Beatriz, we do not get involved in anything in this process. We do not have favorites, ”he said on Tuesday, June 20th.

The former foreign minister of Mexico declared this Monday that if he became President of the Republic, he would create the Secretariat of the 4T and its head would be López Berltrán, an offer that the aforementioned immediately rejected.
