The section that goes from Citilcum to Sudzal is already operational.

The Mayan Train line that goes from Mérida to Izamal, in its Citilcum-Sudzal section, passing through Izamal, is already taking shape.

The construction of the track where the wagons of the Mayan Train will pass is advancing in this area of Izamal.

Similarly, it can be seen that the construction of the vehicular bridge, under which the railway will pass, is already 60% complete, on the Mérida-Izamal road, Citilcum-Kimbilá section.

This viaduct still lacks paving and retaining concrete walls, which would prevent any vehicle from falling off the bridge.

Those who transit from Mérida to Izamal and vice versa observe that the line where the Mayan Train will pass already has shape and great progress.

In this stretch of road there are not so many workers, unlike a year, months and weeks ago.

Only a few workers build the federal rail line.

Some workers said that for weeks they have been liquidating the workers, but they are unaware of the details of this labor issue.

During the tour, it was observed that the cattle pass or unevenness in the Sudzal-Citilcúm section is still pending, which is another aspect that has yet to be defined.

It was found that they are trying to finish the works of the railway for the tests that will be carried out next August and then they will continue with the secondary works of the Mayan Train.
