A young cyclist suffered a strange death in Mérida on Wednesday September 6, when he was riding his bicycle at the Polígono 108 neighborhood. Police officers came to the place to cordon off the area as officers of the State Investigation Police investigated.
According to residents of the area, the young man did not live in that zone. Witnesses said that he was riding his bicycle and he fell on the side of the sidewalk, where he died.
Two versions of the case emerged: the first is that he could suffer a cardiac arrest. The second is that the cyclist tried to ride on the sidewalk but fell and hit his head.
However, it will be the authorities who, after the pertinent inquiries, clarify the cause of death. At the moment, the identity of the young cyclist is unknown.
