Brayan “N”, 18 years old, was arrested on Monday, September 18, at a home in Izamal for killing his wife’s stepfather.
The events occurred on 52nd and 49th Street in the Benito Juárez neighborhood, when the young man observed his wife being physically and verbally attacked by her stepfather.
The boy took out a knife, attacked his wife’s attacker and left him very badly injured by stabbing him at chest level.
Next door neighbors who witnessed the dispute, upon seeing the man lying, immediately called authorities and paramedics, who treated the injured man and took him to the local IMSS clinic, where hours later he died.
Brayan was detained and transferred to the public prison so that his legal situation could be determined.
