Vila Dosal toured the works that are being carried out in La Plancha, with an investment of more than 74 million pesos
The construction of the Ie-tram station, which will be located in the Great Park of La Plancha, where the three routes of this 100 percent electric public transport will converge, is progressing favorably and by the schedule, works confirmed by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal.
Together with the secretary of the city council of Mérida, Alejandro Ruz Castro, Vila Dosal toured the area where this work is being carried out through an investment of more than 74 million pesos for the benefit of more than 1.1 million inhabitants, with which it will be possible offer a comfortable, innovative and functional space to users.
At the point, it was explained that the works being carried out are dirt roads, the access plaza, electrical, sanitary, hydraulic, and voice and data installations; as well as a firefighting system, a rainwater system, platforms corresponding to stage 1, autonomous lighting systems with LED technology and rainwater wells to avoid flooding.
This space will include a loading yard, five bus bays, access doors to the bays with validators for electronic payment, large waiting rooms, a second floor for the control center, as well as Ie-Tram monitoring.
Together with the rector of the Metropolitan Technological University (UTM), María Isabel Rodríguez Heredia, Vila Dosal toured the area where the reconstruction work of more than 1 kilometer of streets is being carried out, which is carried out through a state investment of 23 millions of pesos to improve the flow and roads at this point in the Historic Center of the Yucatecan capital.
In total, three sections of streets will be intervened with their sidewalks on 46th Street, 55th between 48th and 46th, and 43rd between 50th and 48th; as well as the new Ie-Tram streets that will consist of 2.8 kilometers through a state investment of nearly 70 million pesos; With which, in total, the state administration will be investing close to 93 million pesos.
“Preliminary work is being carried out such as the dismantling of existing tracks, scarification, marking and leveling of the surface; the construction of pavements, curbs and sidewalks; the installation of signage, a lighting system with LED technology and the construction of wells and manholes,” indicated the general director of the Yucatan Highway Infrastructure Institute (Incay), Sergio Chan Lugo.
