A young man from the town of San Antonio, Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, was executed by several gunshots while he was driving his moto-taxi.
In something that used to be unusual for the state of Campeche, a young person was left with gunshot wounds in different parts of the body on Federal Highway 180, San Antonio Cárdenas section, near the Technological University of Campeche (UTCam), while driving a moto-taxi.
This is the second high-impact crime that has occurred in this town, since last September 1st, when a woman was shot near her home in the same neighborhood.
Preliminary reports, and news websites, indicate that a subject, approximately 30 years old, was shot to death in the town of San Antonio while driving a motorcycle adapted for public passenger transportation (moto-taxi).
According to the police report, this high-impact event occurred in the vicinity of the UTCAM, a site where agents of the State Preventive Police (PEP), stationed in the Atasta Peninsula, have gone to verify the facts.
Curious people also arrived at the place to observe the conditions of the body of the man who was executed, which was left on his right side, while the moto-taxi stopped right in the middle of the street.
So far, the reason for the firearm attack against this person is unknown, he was apparently on the move when he was attacked.
The High Impact Crimes Department of the Regional Deputy Prosecutor’s Office of Justice, based in Ciudad del Carmen, arrived at the scene. This is the second high-impact event in Ciudad del Carmen in one month, as a woman was executed, precisely on September 1, also from the same community.
