The price of traditional bread varies depending on the place, costs are higher in the Center and North of the city, ranging from nine to 12 pesos, and increases if you consider that it may have other ingredients, such as ham, cheese or some extra filling. If so, the price could be 15 to 20 pesos.

The producers said that there is fear, since they currently buy bags of flour that cost 900 pesos, for 40 kilograms, the price varies depending on the brand and the quantity; However, they also consider other essentials that have been increasing, such as sugar, which could vary between 300 and 400 pesos per bag.

Among the ingredients is also the egg, which they buy wholesale, in boxes, it has constant ups and downs, they pointed out that there are weeks in which prices are stable and others where they increase too much. Currently, the egg rack is around 70 pesos, price in grocery stores, and up to 90 in supermarkets.

After the increase of up to 30 percent in the final product, they commented that they do not really obtain the profits they want, since if they raise prices, customers lower them and they cannot reduce it because the inputs are increasingly more expensive.
