Through the union of efforts between the Ecology Subdirectorate and veterinarians from Yucatan Health Services, last week, consultations and sterilization surgeries were carried out for pets from the port and nearby communities.
“We highlight first of all the participation of responsible owners, as they know the importance of having a companion at home.
We always encourage responsibility on people through the campaigns launched by the department that I have the honor of being in my charge,” said the head of the Directorate of Public Services and Ecology, Canaán Góngora Ortegón.
This way, consultations were carried out at the municipal office facilities from 8 in the morning until the work was completed; Likewise, it was indicated that the corresponding hygiene measures were used on each day, with the aim that these tasks do not pose a risk to the population.
The consultations were scheduled through prior registration via telephone or social networks, thus avoiding crowds in the offices of the Subdirectorate of Ecology.
“We mention that all surgeries were by appointment; today more than ever we must adhere to the healthy distance that our authorities demand of us,” the official added. Finally, Góngora Ortegón indicated that for those interested in veterinary services, the assigned telephone number is 969 103 9332, on this line, they will be able to learn about the services offered to adequately care for their pets.
