Kanasin Christmas Tree lighting brings together 6 thousand people

Hundreds of families in Kanasín witnessed the lighting of the Christmas tree in the center of the city last Saturday night, beginning one of the most anticipated times for everyone in the “Capital of Panucho”.

The event also served as a setting for Mayor Edwin Bojórquez Ramírez to announce “La Carpa de los Sueños Kanasín“, a circus show for the entire municipality that offers free performances for the benefit of all families.

“We want all families to enjoy this time of the year, one of the most beautiful, especially for girls and boys,” said the Mayor, who was accompanied by his family.

He reported that “La Carpa de los Sueños Kanasín” will be open from December 8 to 14 in San Haroldo, from Dec. 15 to 22 in Encinos and from De. 23 to Jan. 7 at the “Alfonso Palma Carrillo” soccer field. The are scheduled from Monday to Friday at 6 and 8:30 p.m., while on Saturdays there will be 3 performances and on Sundays a total of 4.

“All the children of Kanasín deserve the best and for that reason, we are trying to reach all parts of the municipality with free show,” the Mayor said.

«It is important that the families of Kanasín are united and we will continue working from the City Council to have a better Kanasín with better opportunities, Congratulations to all!!!», the Mayor concluded.

An extraordinary Christmas in Kanasin

More than 6 thousand residents of Kanasín enjoyed an unparalleled spectacle last Saturday night, prior to the lighting of the Tree.

With the extraordinary direction of Larissa Chacón and Daniel Canul, the protagonists and artists appeared on stage one after another.

The young Ruby Cruz opened the show with a Christmas musical block and was followed by the “Zúmbale” dance academy led by teacher Pamela Acosta. The Dance School of the H City Council of Kanasín performed the event with a choreography “Tribute to Luis Miguel”. The group is led by teacher Tajani Achach.

Later, it gave way to the “Pope Pope” theater company, which offered a circus show and the participation of the Christmas characters, Santa Claus, The Grinch, Mimi, and Mickey Mouse, as well as the gingerbread cookie man, who animated the evening with a dance.
