The U.S. will introduce a strike force against drug trafficking to Mexico
The Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, Janet Yellen, reported during her visit to Mexico that the United States government will launch a specialized group to combat fentanyl trafficking.
With permission from the López Obrador administration, it will deploy a criminal intelligence group to combat the financing of opioid trafficking.
Such a group will serve as a “shock force” and will be made up of agents from the United States Department of the Treasury and the IRS criminal investigations team.
