Municipal Book Fair Begins in Mérida’s Pasaje Revolución

The Book Fair will remain open until next Sunday, December 17

Starting on Friday, December 8, and until Sunday, December 17, the Municipal Book Fair will take place in the Pasaje de la Revolución in Mérida, where in addition to selling books, there are cultural activities.

The inauguration was today morning, and starting at 6:00 p.m. there will be a reading of the story “El Ceibón y las Vocales” by Jaime Méndez. 

On Saturday, December 9th at noon, the “Confetti Canyon Fun Workshop” will be held, while at 1:00 p.m. the “Shadow Figures Fun Workshop” will be held, both led by Wilbert Cámara Cruz. 

On Wednesday, December 13th starting at 5:00 p.m., there will be a book exchange, and on Thursday the 14th, at 6:00 p.m., the Tumben Bej reading room will hold “My Christmas Notebook.”

On Saturday, December 16th at 11:00 a.m. there will be the “Christmas Trees” crafts workshop, and at noon there will be another workshop but on “Christmas Santas.”

Finally, on Sunday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. there will be the activity “Being Junji ito for a day” by Angello Alessandro Chigo Uc.

The Book Fair will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and admission is free.
