Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal confirms the progress of the construction of the Ie-tram station in La Plancha park, a work that is progressing according to schedule and where the different routes of this 100% electric and unique public transport will converge. type in Latin America, continuing with the transformation of mobility in Yucatán.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Mérida, Alejandro Ruz Castro, Vila Dosal toured the area to supervise the work that presents important progress in which the roadways have been completed and the construction area of the chargers is being carried out.
Together with the general directors of the Highway Infrastructure Institutes of Yucatán (Incay), Sergio Chan Lugo, and for the Development and Certification of the Physical, Educational and Electrical Infrastructure of Yucatán (Idefeey), Luis Jorge Montalvo Duarte, Vila Dosal observed the work being carried out to soon offer a comfortable, innovative and functional space to users.
Work has been carried out at the site, such as dirt roads, the access plaza, electrical, sanitary, hydraulic, and voice and data installations; as well as a firefighting system, a rainwater system, platforms corresponding to stage 1, autonomous lighting systems with LED technology and rainwater wells to avoid flooding.
This space will include a loading yard, 5 bus bays, access doors to the bays with validators for electronic payment, large waiting rooms, a second floor for the control center, Ie-Tram monitoring, as well as 32 loading areas for the same number of buses.
In this way, the Governor continues to promote the transformation of mobility in Yucatán, making it sustainable, modern, efficient and with the quality that Yucatecans deserve.
