He stressed that the state transportation authorities in Yucatán must take into consideration the expenses that the partners will carry out to provide the transportation service on highways and communities to see the possibility of a slight increase in service the service fee, which has been frozen since 2018.

The local leader of UNTRAC insisted that to provide a good service to its users, they must have greater income to maintain their units and buy more vans for the foreign transportation service. For this reason, they insist that in 2024 they must be authorized to increase transportation service rates, taking into consideration the economic blow due to the increase in gasoline prices.

Finally, Medina Castro clarified that his group remains solid providing transportation service in the interior of the State, also regretting that very old bus stations in Mérida are disappearing little by little because the public transportation service is being provided by ADO trucks that are absorbing those historic power plants in the city.
