After three days of intense searching in the northern area of Quintana Roo, the Harmony Of The Seas cruise ship located the six missing Cozumel fishermen 20 miles from Cabo Catoche.
According to the first details provided by local media, on the morning of this Tuesday, January 16, the discovery of the six missing crew members, in addition to their pet, was reported alive.
All of them are in good health and remained on board the boat “Aris”, which had an engine failure.
A search notice was issued through social networks after the disappearance at sea of six fishermen from Cozumel, so alarm bells quickly went off. The rescued fishermen: Manuel Chimal (captain), Ángel Lugo, Felipe Dzul, Alejandro Rafael Kú, Julio Cesar Córdoba, Roberto González, and the little dog “Canelo”.
