A fugitive from justice in the State of Mexico since 2010, where he is being prosecuted for the crime of qualified homicide, Evair LG , alias “El Evair”, 33 years old, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 14th in Mérida.
Agents from the State Investigative Police (PEI), the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), located the suspect on a property in downtown Mérida.
The investigating police and prosecutors of Yucatán, in collaboration with their counterparts from the State of Mexico, executed the arrest warrant for the subject, originally from the state of Veracruz.
The Mexican authorities transferred him to the State of Mexico to put him at the disposal of the judge who is pursuing the criminal case in the municipality of Ecatepec.
