A double homicide of brothers aged 7 and 17 occurred once again in Tabasco, where days before a child identified as Dante Emiliano was murdered with a firearm.
One of the victims was a 7-year-old boy, who was allegedly murdered by armed men when he tried to defend his older brother, who was allegedly the target of the armed attack.
Two brothers were murdered in the municipality of Cárdenas, Tabasco during the night of Saturday, May 25, official reports say.
The victims were identified as brothers Misael and Darvin “N”, 17 and 7 years old, respectively.
Armed men showed up at a property located in the Ejido Francisco Trujillo García, presumably looking for Misael, a 17-year-old teenager.
During the attack, 7-year-old Darvin was also shot several times while trying to defend his older brother from the aggressors, initial reports indicate.
The two brothers lost their lives at the scene of the attack.
At this time it is unknown if there were more people in the house where the attack occurred.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) carried out the removal of the bodies and transferred them to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) for the legal autopsy.
