Young people from Motul were dazzled by “My School Has Talent”, an event brought by the City Council and promoted by the “Planet Youth Juventud es Yucatán” program, in coordination with Sedeculta and Segey.

The civic square of the municipality was the scene of this celebration that took place on the evening of the 8th, where various schools participated in this display of youth creativity.

Among the most notable performances were some videos produced by the students, which captured the public’s attention.

The “Agustín Franco Villanueva” secondary school presented a video about inclusion, while the “Eulogio Palma y Palma” secondary school impressed those present with the song “Soy del Sur”.

There were also special participations from the “Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta” high school from the Ucí police station, as well as from the “Juan de Dios Rodríguez Heredia” school from Motul, with dance, singing and music performances.

In addition, there were exhibitions of painting and urban art.

The cultural festival was attended by government, educational, and cultural authorities, including the City Council’s Culture Director, Edilberto Tzab Chalé, and Cristy Koh Uitz, representing the Education Directorate.
