Mérida will enjoy a “freezing” climate in the middle of summer during the ice cream festival that will take place in the coming weeks.
During the Heladiza Fest event, there will be various shows. The event will be pet-friendly and include a dog show.
At a press conference, they presented the 2024 edition of the festival. Attendees will have a wide range of more than 100 flavors.
Some flavors are red wine, goat cheese with blackberry, queso de bola with Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, and marshmallows. There will also be ice pops, popsicles, churros, and basket tacos. The “Heladiza Fest” will start on August 4 in the Parque de la Mejorada.
The festival starts at 10 am with more than 30 exhibitors, including ice cream makers, artisans, and musicians. Admission is free and 100% family-friendly. The ice creams will range from $15 to $90. Sponsors such as Casa Preve and Multi E commented that they have special prices on their different products.
