The president of the Mexican Association of Hotels in Yucatán, Juan José Martín Pacheco, spoke in favor of the person who heads the Tourism Promotion Secretariat in the Díaz Mena government being of local origin.

He considered that the governor-elect’s willingness to listen to the private sector raises hopes that he would listen to the requests of tourism businesspeople.
Martín Pacheco, former Secretary of Tourism Development of Yucatán himself, said in the last six years, the promotion of products such as the Mayan World suffered a reduction. He believed, among other things, that this program that united the states of the south-southeast must resume with new positioning strategies.
The businessman said they would request a meeting with Díaz Mena to propose the appointment.
The elected governor, the first from the Morena party that Yucatán will have, recently reported that he will present the members of his cabinet in three blocks.
