In Teabo, Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal thanked the people of Yucatan for their support and assistance, which allowed the state to be transformed, closing the gap of poverty and inequality in all corners, bringing the population more and better health services that respond to their needs.
As part of his farewell tour of the state, Vila Dosal delivered the rehabilitation and modernization works of the Teabo Health Center, which from today will offer residents free services such as ultrasound, clinical analysis, dental and psychological care so that they do not have to travel to Mérida in search of these services.
Accompanied by the mayor of Teabo, Aida María de Jesús Fernández Góngora, the Governor thanked the people of Yucatan for their trust and support, which today allowed Yucatan to be transformed and turned into the best of all time.
As part of his farewell tour throughout the territory, the Governor will visit the 140 Health Centers that are being remodeled, to improve the care and quality of the services provided there and thus continue to strengthen health in Yucatan.
Accompanied by the head of the Yucatan Health Secretariat (SSY), Mauricio Sauri Vivas, he supervised in Teabo the adjustments that were made to this space, which from now on will also have free ultrasound, laboratory tests, dental and psychological care, as well as an oxygen tank and a red backpack to stabilize patients who suffer a heart attack while the ambulance arrives for their transfer.
Likewise, each of these spaces will have a doctor who will be available 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, to guarantee care to whoever needs it.
Regarding the rehabilitation works that were supervised by Vila Dosal, they consisted of interior and exterior painting, finishes, an increase in public bathrooms for greater comfort, LED lighting, redesign of the entrance with wheelchair access, replacement of windows, ironwork, doors, and windows that were in poor condition; new furniture and waterproofing.
Finally, the Governor urged residents to apply for their Universal Health Card, to have free access to all the new services that will be offered in the health centers.
