Mutek MX is about to celebrate its twentieth edition in CDMX, and there is already information about the lineup of this festival which includes musical and audiovisual presentations, immersive experiences, and interactive art installations, among other activities.
What is Mutek MX?
Mutek MX is an electronic music, art, and digital creativity festival that arrived in Mexico in 2003 and is part of the Mutek International Network, originating in the city of Montreal (1999) and with presence in Tokyo, Santiago, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Dubai.
MUTEK MX aims to be a “platform for the promotion and dissemination of cutting-edge thinking applied to sound and digital art, creating unique experiences that transform the audience’s relationship with technology, the city, and digital creativity.”
Mutek MX will bring together more than 50 national and international artists, collectives, and projects from countries such as Canada, France, Germany, Japan, England, Italy, Spain, and Senegal.
The 20th edition of Mutek MX will be held from October 7 to 20 at different venues in Mexico City.
