The Association of Restaurants and Gastronomic Services of this municipality expressed its gratitude to the future Secretary of Tourism, Darío Flota Ocampo, for allowing them to discuss their needs and objectives as a community in a meeting held in Mérida, in which other organizations from the tourism sector also participated.

According to Eduar de Jesús Vidal Alonzo, president of the association, the meeting allowed them to raise their concerns and aspirations to consolidate Motul as a Magical Town.

He highlighted the importance of working together with the authorities and other organizations in the sector to promote the tourist development of the region.

“This meeting reflects the commitment of the association to enhance the gastronomic and tourist offer of Motul, recently recognized as one of the Magical Towns of Mexico.”

“The initiative seeks to promote the cultural and natural wealth of the area, attracting more visitors and benefiting the local community,” he said.

The association’s objectives include promoting local cuisine, highlighting typical dishes such as Motuleño eggs, and improving the tourist infrastructure to offer a more attractive experience to visitors to Motul.
