The relic of Saint Jude Thaddeus will visit three more in the city of Merida as well as churches in five other municipalities of Yucatan
From October 4 to 12, for the first time, the relic of Saint Jude Thaddeus will visit Yucatan as part of its tour throughout the country, reported Archbishop Gustavo Rodriguez Vega, who explained that the relic is inside a polychrome wooden carving.
It is shaped like a hand with three fingers pointing upwards in a sign of blessing, and inside it contains a piece of bone attributed to the apostle that can be seen through a glass.
The state will visit the municipalities of Maxcanú, Umán, Motul, Tizimín, and Valladolid in their respective parishes.
In Merida, there will be three venues: the Cathedral of San Idelfonso, the rectory of San Judas Tadeo in the Díaz Ordaz neighborhood, and the parish of San Judas Tadeo in Los Héroes Subdivision.
