These projects are in addition to the two thousand rooms that are already being built this year.

The Association of International Hotel Investors (Inverotel), which includes 17 Spanish chains, announced the construction of 3 more hotels in Quintana Roo, which are expected to be ready by the end of 2025.

Ramón Roselló, manager of the group and president of the Costa Mujeres Hotel Association, commented that these projects are in addition to the two thousand rooms that are already being built this year, and that will allow Costa Mujeres to reach 10 thousand rooms.

At the beginning of this year, an agreement was signed between the state and the hotel group, which represents 33% of the lodging centers in the Mexican Caribbean.

According to the Institute for Development and Financing of the State of Quintana Roo (IDEFIN), the state continues to be an attractive destination for investors and currently has a portfolio of projects with financing that could exceed 10 billion dollars.

The Costa Mujeres area has seen significant growth in recent years, not only in investment but also in occupancy. Practically the entire first semester reported 80% hotel occupancy. Although there is now a drop in tourism, it is expected that by the end of November, the influx of visitors will pick up again.
