Claudia Sheinbaum congratulates López Obrador on his birthday and dedicates the ‘mañanitas’ to him

The head of State took the opportunity to send an emotional message to the Mexican politician from the National Palace, in which she described him as the “main political leader of the 21st century”.

Before finishing the morning conference this Wednesday, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, dedicated the traditional Mañanitas to former president Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador, on the occasion of his birthday.

Today, November 13, the native of Tabasco celebrates his 71st birthday, for which the head of State also took the opportunity to send an emotional message to the Mexican politician from the National Palace, in which she described him as the “main political leader of the 21st century” that Mexico has had.

There was also a party for the former president’s birthday in the Lower House of Congress, where the parliamentary group of Morena with some members of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) and the Labor Party (PT), also dedicated “las mañanitas” to the ex-president.

The event took place late last night, at the end of the session where they approved raising animal protection to constitutional status and approved the ratification of Rogelio Ramírez de la O as head of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).

After that, the representatives gathered in the tribune to sing the traditional song “las mañanitas” to the former president of Mexico.
