President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Wednesday, December 11, at her morning press conference that on Friday the 13th she will visit Yucatan as part of her tour of the Southeast.
In what will be her last visit to Yucatan in 2024, the President of Mexico announced that this weekend she will visit the states, of Chiapas and Quintana Roo.
The tour will begin this Friday, December 13 in Yucatan, as she will visit Valladolid and Chichén Itzá, and she will present degrees to graduates of the Benito Juárez University.
In addition, she shared that she will witness the presentation of a play that the graduating students will present.
President Claudia Sheinbaum’s tour will continue this Saturday, December 14 in Palenque, Chiapas, at the start of the works of the La Ceiba park, located at the entrance of the archaeological site.
She will also oversee health issues at the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE).
She will then board the Mayan Train in Chiapas to travel to Chetumal in Quintana Roo, from where on Sunday, December 15, he will commemorate the first anniversary of the federal project.
