The Guayabera Christmas Fair with more than 40 exhibitors displaying their different designs and brands will be held in Tekit until December 31 and in Mérida from this Monday, December 16 to Tuesday, December 23 in Santa Ana Park.
From the main square of the capital of the Guayabera, there are artisans who for years and generations have dedicated their lives to creating unique pieces that are a tradition in Yucatecan clothing and with increasing innovations.
During the rest of this month, Tekit will have these exhibitors, however, they will also be in Mérida in Santa Ana Park, during this and next week so that visitors from Mérida and tourists can acquire original pieces.
Manuel and Carlos Domínguez Narváez, brothers who are dedicated to creating guayaberas, explained that they have a proposal for the youth sector that offers the same technique, but with unique styles that allow them to have a new freshness.
As part of the organizing committee, they indicated that during these scheduled days they expect around 10 million pesos as economic spillover and a visit of approximately 40 thousand people in both venues.
