Yucatan begins a new stage for the care and well-being of people, with the completion of the construction work for the Health Center in the municipality of Tunkás.
Tunkás, Yucatán (January 8th, 2025).- The completion of this work, which had not been attended to for 62 years, marks a watershed for the entire state of Yucatan.
The space is designed to meet the most urgent needs, but also to promote prevention and comprehensive care for the population; and will also offer general medicine, stomatology, preventive medicine, and vaccination services, among others.
The Health Center has a well-equipped pharmacy and areas for medical personnel to guarantee the quality of care, thanks to an investment of more than 6.8 million pesos in construction and equipment, intending to operate efficiently for the benefit of more than 3,300 people who live in this community.
The mayor of Tunkás, Jorge Kuh, highlighted the importance of the completion of this Health Center, which had not received attention for decades.
Jorge Kuh expressed his gratitude for the result of the coordinated work that allowed this achievement to be achieved for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tunkás.
