As part of the ongoing fight against drug dealing in Yucatan, carried out jointly by federal and state forces, on January 15, a property was searched in the Dolores Otero neighborhood, south of Mérida.

During the operation, more than 30 kilograms of cannabis, cocaine, granulated cocaine (crack), and methamphetamines were seized.

Cash, notebooks with information on the purchase and sale of drugs, as well as scales were also seized.

Gaspar Jesús V. C., 33 years old, originally from the city of Mérida, was arrested at the scene for his probable responsibility in crimes against health.

Forces from the Defense, Navy, and National Guard, criminal experts from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), and agents from the State Investigative Police (PEI) and the Canine Unit (K9) of the Ministry of Security participated in the operation. Public (SSP).

The property is on Constitución Avenue (105th Street) at 52-A and 54.

The search, ordered by a control judge, stems from investigations and arrests carried out in previous operations, from which evidence was obtained to prove the probable existence of drugs at that address in the Dolores Otero neighborhood.
