Upon their arrival in Mexico City, on Friday March 11th, The Rolling Stones became tourists, and visited museums, restaurants and bars of the Mexican capital.

The legendary British band will make two historical presentations at “Foro Sol”, March 14th and 17th.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts arrived in Mexico City Friday March 11th, after landing at Toluca international airport from Colombia, where they wowed thousands of fans with their Olé Tour.

In a press conference at Four Seasons Reforma, the Sunstone (Piedra del Sol) poster was unveiled, as the official image for this stop of their Latin American Olé Tour (‘América Latina Olé Tour’).

The setlist of the concert includes obviously classics and some other surprises too. Starting with the first song of the evening, until they close with “(I Can not Get No) Satisfaction”, the Stones will delight the audience with twenty or so songs, including one special song that fans can choose in an online survey.

Rolling Stones fans lined up along Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, outside “The Four Seasons”, hoping to have a quick glimpse of their idols as they go out, but guess what? It did not happen. “Their Satanic Majesties” left the building on board closed armored cars at full speed, and headed down to visit different spots in the city.

While Mick Jagger visited the National Museum of Antropology and History (Museo Nacional de Antropología e Historia), located in the heart of Chapultepec Park; Keith Richards was spotted having dinner at a restaurant in Polanco.

The Rolling Stones have expressed their appreciation with the public on their social networks, and shared that on each of the Latin American tour presentations, the euphoria has been “in crescendo”.

A Mexican rock band called “Little Jesus” was chosen by the Rolling Stones for the opening of their two concerts in Mexico.
We are excited and our parents more,” joked the band members.
Little Jesus was created in 2012.
Their first and only album (“Norte”) was released in 2013.

Want to see The Rolling Stones play for free?

Well, all you need to do is take the next flight to Havana, where they will be making history as the first British Rock band ever to play in the Cuban capital in an open air concert.

And when The Rolling Stones bring their massive production into Cuba on March 25, it will mark a major milestone in the cultural emergence of this “Communist” country.
