MERIDA — To celebrate her 25th birthday, Cara Delevingne flew with more than 10 of her best friends to Yucatan.
According to a national magazine, the British actress and model and her friends left Mexico City — where the Briton was to promote her film, “Valerian” — and flew to a Yucatan resort in a private plane, courtesy of Cara, who wore a smile from ear to ear at all times.
Upon arrival, both the model and her friends were greeted by mariachis, having fun and improvising choreography to the sound of “Cielito lindo” and “El mariachi loco”.
The group wore red pants and white shirts, ideal for the heat.

Another of the luxuries in which the model did not spare was accommodations, lodging her friends in the hotel Chablé Resort & Spa, which costs more than $16,788 pesos per night and has private jacuzzis inside the rooms, as well as an outdoor pool where everyone posed in a bikini.
And although neither Suki Waterhouse nor Kendall Jenner, Cara’s other famous friends, were present at the celebration, her older sisters, Chloé and Poppy Delevingne, accompanied her in this adventure and even boasted “looks” created exclusively for this occasion: Caps with printed CD25 initials, as well as sweatshirts, t-shirts and custom pants, all made by Chaos.
“It’s a girls’ trip and Cara wants to celebrate a few months of hard work and get away from it as much as possible with the closest ones,” said one of her friends.
The model usually celebrates her birthday in grand style, as she did, for example, when she decided to spend her 23rd birthday in Toronto or when she celebrated her 22nd birthday in Ibiza.
Delevingne has not stopped since the beginning of the year, and this trip, in addition to having a party, promises to be a lot of relaxation, she said recently.
