Interjet has announced the startup on October 26 of direct flights to Vancouver from Cancun and Mexico City. Vancouver will be Interjet’s third destination in the country of the maple leaf, which the low-cost carrier intends to continue conquering throughout 2018.
Starting this week, tickets are available for sale with an affordable introduction fee starting at $194 USD departing from Mexico City and $203 USD departing from Cancun for a one-way trip with taxes included.
The flight, said José Luis Graza, CEO of Interjet, operated on A320 equipment will have frequencies on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Garza noted that Vancouver is undoubtedly the natural step for its coverage in Canada. “Thanks to the increased interest in connectivity between the two countries, we offer this new transportation option to Canadian tourists and Mexicans who travel for business, pleasure or to study in that country,” said the director.
On July 13 of this year Interjet began its expansion into Canada with its first flights from Mexico City to Montreal and Cancun to Montreal.
