For the seventh time, the National Chamber of Commerce Services and Tourism (Canaco Servytur) of Mérida organizes the Canaco Business Club, an event that seeks to boost and strengthen the local supply chain and provide businesses with spaces to make sure their products have a safe market.

180 members and guests will attend the event that will be held on Thursday April 12 at the Canaco Servytur business center in Mérida, Yuc.

“Supply for Hotels and Restaurants” is the main topic of this seventh edition, which priority is to make sure that every small, medium or large company find new marketing channels to place their products and services on the market, guarantee the growth of their business and be part of the economic development of Merida, Yucatan and the country.

The official announcement of the event, held at the offices of the Canaco Mérida, was presided by Juan Carlos Azar Rivero, general director of the Yucatan-Sefoe Fund; and Adolfo Peniche Pérez, delegate of the Ministry of Economy in the state.

The press meeting was led by Michel Salum Francis, president of the business organization; Gonzalo Novelo Luján, president of the Organizing Committee of the event, and Ing. Iraq Greene Marrufo, of the Direction of Linking and Tourist Business Promotion of the state Sefotur.

Salum Francis said that by reaching its seventh edition, the Canaco Business Club consolidates itself as an innovative and agile way of establishing a commercial relationship, which helps buyers and sellers to carry out business.

“At Canaco Mérida we are convinced that keeping unity among our partners is the best way to advance in the collective benefit, through actions that boost commerce and tourism sectors,” he said.

The leader of Merida’s businessmen pointed out that some of the companies or businesses that will participate in the event may have a consolidated supply chain, but they are always in search of new suppliers in order to improve the system necessary for their operability

Salum Francis said that with this business model, the Canaco Mérida remains at the forefront in programs that promote commercial relationships among its associates, with the objective of maintaining medium-impact business dynamics.

Participants in this event will offer and look for products or services related to the supply of hotels and restaurants, which are essential in the operation of this type of business. The event will take place on April 12 at the Canaco Mérida Convention Center starting at 7:30 p.m.

 

According to the Canaco, every participating company recommend the event as an excellent business tool.

  • 40.9% of the companies had one to five buyers of their interest
  • 36.4% between six and 10
  • 22.7% achieved more than 11

Buying opportunities

100% of the companies scheduled appointments after the event; 50% found between one to five suppliers with innovations, lower prices or better quality; and 50% had between six and 10.

Goals

400 quick business appointments will be arranged in the Speed ​​Networking this April 12; and 16 million pesos in sales are expected in the three months after the event.
