Located in the municipality of Temozón, in the east of the state, the Hubikú Ecopark is a tourist attraction that offers visitors a space to get in touch with nature and enjoy local gastronomy and traditions.
The site is at kilometer 1.5 of the Temozón-Tizimín highway, approximately two hours away from Mérida, and has a cenote of beautiful crystalline waters, with an diameter of 70 meters. There, you can practice diving and for the safety of the visitors a certified lifeguard is permanently on duty.
Through the Rediscover Yucatan campaign , the Board of Cultural and Tourist Services Units (Cultur) invites you to visit this site, which is open from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In the place is the Tequila Museum “Don Tadeo” where you can see how this liquor is made and taste more of its 10 different tequila variations. It also has an area of Maya culture in which the traditional life of the inhabitants is showcased for the visitors to see how the modern Maya live.
The Kin restaurant offers a variety of regional dishes and, in addition, the site has a nursery, rest areas with hammocks, craft shops and health services.
The archaeological sites of Chichén Itzá and Ek Balam, which are located near the Hubikú Ecopark.
