The artisanal, cultural, gastronomic, architectural and natural wealth of Valladolid was present for the third consecutive year at the Tianguis Turístico México 2018, that took place one week ago in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
Valladolid’s mayor Alpha Tavera Escalante, went to the Tianguins in order to promote this important destination.
In addition, the Association of Hoteliers of Valladolid, along with representatives of El Mesón del Marqués Hotel, Quinta Regia Hotel, Selva Maya restaurant hacienda and local businessman Noé Rodriguez were also present at the event.

It is worth mentioning that thanks to the extensive promotion labour that has been carried out in Valladolid including its attendance to these national events, the number of visitors to this municiplaity has increased significantly, as reported by statistics from the State Secretariat of Tourism Development (SEFOTUR).
In recent years, the tourism market in Yucatan is growing by the minute. With state-of-the-art technology such as the use of virtual reality, people all over the world can get to know the wide variety of different experiences that the state has to offer, and Valladolid highlights the wealth of Yucatan.
